~Karpie's Korner

Video games aren't just for kids, it seems.

"Beware, if you ever do race against the Anti-Uni, he likes to cheat. The game gets very difficult, in the gold medal and Anti-Uni races."

Unirally (Uniracers)

"I also like nice things, like the hoot of an owl in the forest at night. The slamming of a door as you exit a building. The humming of a NPC as they go about their business, unaware of you standing behind them pilfering their house."

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Modern games have evolved in scope so dramatically that it's not just as simple as getting through each of the levels then jumping on the final boss's head to kill it - they have multitudes of secrets, strategies, and pitfalls, and some are long enough to keep any gamer occupied for up to a hundred hours, and that's without playing any bonus modes.

Those who have known me for any length of time know of my passion for video games. From old-skool games to modern games, I've played lots and loved many.

And I've expressed my interest and enjoyment in video games in several ways: I write comprehensive reviews of video games, and I also write complete walkthroughs for them, to help the casual gamer overcome the heavy difficulty of some modern games, and just entertain others with my writing style.
